Hello! My name is Megan Cummings, and I am a teacher in Alabama. I have been teaching for the last 5 years, teaching both general education and special education. I am currently a 2nd Grade teacher, but have taught PK-3 SPE and 3rd Grade for 3 years, In my spare time, I love to read, do crafts, spend time with my friends and family, and spend time with my cat named Waffle.

Based in Illinois, I hold a Masters in Teaching and am dedicated to providing an engaging and accessible learning experience for my students. Throughout my years of teaching, I have developed a passion for making online learning both enjoyable and effective for my students. Hi! My name is Ms. Dennis, and I’m excited to support your child on their learning journey. I’ve spent the last seven years teaching students from Kindergarten through 12th grade here in sunny Florida. I come from a background in International Business & Trade and Communications, which helps me bring a global, creative, and people-centered approach to teaching. Outside the classroom, I love the beach, cooking (especially West African–inspired dishes), music, and dance. I believe learning should feel joyful, empowering, and connected to real life.

I’ve been teaching for two wonderful years, where I’ve had the chance to tutor and substitute in reading, math, and science across all grade levels. My first leap into full-time teaching was in a middle school art class, where I had the opportunity to help kids express themselves creatively every day. I’ve taught in sunny Florida, and I fell in love with making learning fun and engaging for every learner I meet.

Hi! My name is Ileana. I’m an educator with 8 years of experience working with students of all ages. I’m also a mom of two, so I understand busy schedules, different personalities, and the importance of creating a positive learning environment. I love helping kids feel confident, supported, and proud of their progress.

I have been teaching elementary school for over 30 years! I love my job and am passionate about teaching children and helping them become successful. I have taught all grades K-8, as well as high-school remedial math classes. I was named Outstanding Educator of the Year, and have been both a classroom teacher and an administrator. I have a master's degree in education and a PhD in educational leadership. I currently teach 2nd grade, mentor new teachers, and do trainings in new curriculums. I love tutoring and working one-on-one with students who need additional help or need a challenge and enrichment. I have a husband, 2 daughters/son-in-law, and 2 grandsons! I love spending time with my family, reading, and being outdoors. I am currently available as a tutor Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

I have been teaching for 8 years, working with learners from kindergarten to 5th grade. I have taught 1st grade in all subjects, as well as 3rd-5th grade learning support for subjects like math, reading, writing, and social skills. I have experience teaching in Pennsylvania, so I am familiar with the local curriculum and education standards in this state. In terms of my education, I have a degree in Early Education for grades preK-4th, as well as a degree in Special Education for grades K-8. Additionally, I have a Masters of Education degree. I am also just finishing my last class for a reading specialist certification, which I believe will greatly enhance my ability to support learners in reading. Outside of teaching, my interests include spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, reading, and playing basketball and rugby. I also enjoy going for walks and incorporating movement into my teaching style. I believe that learning should be fun and engaging, and I use a variety of resources and strategies, such as boom cards and interactive slides, to make online learning enjoyable for my learners. Throughout our learning journey, I also make sure to track progress and adjust my methods as needed to ensure that online learning is effective for each individual learner.
