Hi, I’m Sheree! As a veteran teacher with over 15 years of experience, I specialize in elementary and middle-level education (Grades 1–6). My diverse career spans the school systems of New York and Virginia, with a deep instructional focus on ELA, Mathematics (through Algebra II), Science, and Social Studies. Being an educator, I’ve learned one thing: kids learn best when they’re having a fun. My mission is to turn every lesson—whether it’s Algebra, Reading, or Science—into an adventure by blending creative energy with digital tools like SplashLearn, Khan Academy and Kahoot! I have been teaching for 7 years and have experience working with learners in grades 5-12. I have taught English, Science, and have a special love for teaching 7th grade English. Currently, I am based in Illinois and have taught in various schools and locations within the state. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education and have obtained a teaching certification for English in grades 6-8 and 9-12. My teaching style is human and story-based, making lessons fun and engaging by incorporating students' interests. By building a strong rapport with my learners, I am able to create a personalized learning experience that is both effective and enjoyable. Outside of teaching, I enjoy running, playing video games, and cooking. These interests heavily influence my teaching style, as I am driven to complete tasks with excellence and strive to help my learners achieve their full potential. My journey began in second grade when I felt called and knew teaching would always be my passion. I have been blessed to teach in public, private, and online settings, giving me the opportunity to grow immensely, becoming more creative, intentional, and effective.

I am a proud mother of three wonderful grown children. I enjoy reading and listening to music in my free time. I received my Master's in Education from Ashford University. I have a deep passion for teaching and helping children reach their fullest potential, always meeting them at their individual level. With over ten years of teaching experience, I hold a Master’s degree in Education with a minor in Special Education. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching with Frisco ISD and at Best Brains Tutoring, located in a suburb of Dallas, TX. I’m truly excited to begin this learning journey with you!

Hello families! My name is Dr. Nicholas Donis, and I have the honor of serving as the Founding Assistant Principal at YES Prep North Rankin Elementary. I am originally from New York City and come from a proud bilingual family. My personal journey as both a learner and educator has shaped my belief that every child has greatness within them, and it is our work—as a school community and as families—to help that greatness shine. I have worked in education for several years as a teacher, instructional coach, and school administrator. My passion is supporting students in building strong language skills, confidence in expressing who they are, and pride in their culture and identity. I believe that school should feel like a place where students are loved, challenged, and celebrated.

Hi there! I'm Mr. Elliott (Petrilla)! I'm an educator, performer, and lifelong learner who believes every student deserves to feel confident, inspired, and supported. A proud Teach For America alumnus ('21) living in Baltimore, I have had the opportunity to work closely with students from diverse backgrounds and help them grow both academically and personally. I also have a background in musical theatre, film and television production, and radio broadcasting, and I love bringing creativity and real-world connections into my lessons. Outside of teaching, I enjoy gardening, spending time with my dog Marcus and cat Bebop, and exploring ways to make learning fun and meaningful.

I taught at Gwinnett County Public Schools for 6 years, teaching both sixth and tenth grade Language Arts. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English.
