Spelling Tutoring for 5th Grade

Hello! My name is Malessa Molina. I have been teaching since 1999. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. In August of 2024 I became a reading and math interventionist for grades Kindergarten through 6th grade.

With 8 years of teaching experience, I have taught learners in grades 3rd through 7th in Mississippi. I also tutor for my local community and enjoy helping children gain confidence in their education. I hold degrees in Elementary Education, Middle School Math, Special Needs, and a Masters in Educational Leadership. As a member of the Teacher Advisory Board, I am dedicated to continuously improving and adapting my teaching methods to best serve my students. I believe that learning should be fun and engaging for kids and I achieve this by keeping my lessons interactive. On our trial meeting, your student will be assessed and from there I will set goals for your student to happily obtain. By setting goals and working together, we can make online learning effective and reach those goals. Learning should be fun, engaging and personalized. Outside of teaching, I love to read and travel with my family. I believe that family is important and always strive to create a sense of family within my classroom. I've been a teacher since 2015. I have mainly taught elementary age students but I enjoy math in the older grades up to 7th grade. In my free time I spend time gardening and farming. I have ducks and chickens at my house. I also like to go out in nature, hunting, fishing or camping. In the winter when the weather is bad I like to do crafts and sewing.
