Hello! My name is Machayla and I was raised in North Carolina where I attended college with the dream of becoming an elementary school teacher. I have taught for 6 years and am putting my experience to good use now as a tutor on Class Dojo! I am excited to be able to help students around the country meet their full potential!

Hi! My name is Mrs. Gordon and I have been a passionate educator for 17 years and am a proud alum of Arkansas State University where I obtained by Bachelor's degree in pre-kindergarten to 4th grade Early Childhood. I have taught kindergarten, 1st grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade literacy, and kindergarten through fifth grade literacy intervention. Currently I am a 2nd and 3rd grade literacy intervention. I am also a proud boy mom and a patient doodle mom.

With 18 years of teaching experience, I’ve had the pleasure of working with kids from Kindergarten to 8th grade, covering subjects like English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. I’ve taught in diverse places like Arizona, Alaska, and even the Philippines, which has given me unique insights into different cultures and learning styles. When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me hiking up some beautiful trails, dancing to my favorite tunes, or swimming in the sunshine. My teaching background includes elementary special education, elementary general education, and English as a second language. Additionally, I use a mix of multimedia formats such as videos, interactive quizzes, and slides to ensure that the content is engaging and interactive. To make sure that our online sessions are effective, I always start by setting clear expectations and goals for the lesson. I believe that when learners know what they are working towards, they are more likely to be engaged and focused. Outside of teaching, I love gaming, reading, and baking. These hobbies have not only allowed me to recharge and unwind, but they have also influenced my teaching style in a positive way. As a gamer, I bring my love for gaming into the virtual classroom by making learning more fun and engaging. With 25 years of experience as a certified reading and ESL teacher, I’m passionate about helping children worldwide excel in reading and learning English. I’ve had the privilege of working with children in England, Italy, Germany, the US, and the Dominican Republic. Additionally, I was an accredited Daycare Provider, caring for infants to preschoolers and gaining experience working with a diverse group of students from around the world.

Hi Friends! My name is Miss Holzman (or Miss H). I have worked with students in Kindergarten to 5th grade in Special Education setting for the last 7 years and I have also been tutoring for the past 10 years with students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. I am originally from Pennsylvania, but have recently moved to California. I have both my Pennsylvania Certifications in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. Outside of teaching, I am a big traveler and a dog lover. I also enjoy listening to music, enjoy watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.

Hello! My name is Malessa Molina. I have been teaching since 1999. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. In August of 2024 I became a reading and math interventionist for grades Kindergarten through 6th grade.

With 8 years of teaching experience, I have taught learners in grades 3rd through 7th in Mississippi. I also tutor for my local community and enjoy helping children gain confidence in their education. I hold degrees in Elementary Education, Middle School Math, Special Needs, and a Masters in Educational Leadership. As a member of the Teacher Advisory Board, I am dedicated to continuously improving and adapting my teaching methods to best serve my students. I believe that learning should be fun and engaging for kids and I achieve this by keeping my lessons interactive. On our trial meeting, your student will be assessed and from there I will set goals for your student to happily obtain. By setting goals and working together, we can make online learning effective and reach those goals. Learning should be fun, engaging and personalized.
