With 30 years of experience, I have taught Middle School Mathematics to 6th-8th graders and Algebra I in Texas. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Grades 6th - 12th Math and Computer Information Systems. Aside from English, I can also speak Spanish fluently. My expertise in teaching ESL learners and diverse learners has allowed me to adapt my teaching style to better connect with my students. I make online learning fun and engaging by personalizing each lesson, making it relevant and interactive, and praising my learners. My goal is to ensure effective online learning by setting short and long-term goals, checking for understanding throughout the lesson, and providing constant feedback. Outside of teaching, I love to travel and take photographs. I also love watching sports live or on TV, especially baseball and basketball. These interests and knowledge allow me to make lessons more relevant and more exciting for my students. I was born in Houston, Texas, but lived for 17 years in Italy, where I started teaching English! I also speak Italian. I love animals, and have cats and a dog. I am working on my principal certification.

I have more than 2 decades of experience in elementary and middle school education. I was a classroom teacher for twenty years. Then, I began working as an online teacher in 2021.

I've been teaching for 7 years in Texas, mostly in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6. My degrees are in Accounting and Teaching, so I bring a unique perspective to my sessions.
