I am a certified teacher who has been teaching for over 25 years . I love making learning fun for scholars; working with students and providing the support they need to have confidence in math gives me great joy. I want students to realize that a big part of math is exploring, sharing, and making real world connections to math concepts. I would love to work with your with your scholar!

With 10 years of teaching experience, I have a passion for helping learners in first through third grade excel in subjects like Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Academically Gifted Education. My love for teaching and connecting with kids has led me to teach in North Carolina, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I believe that building strong relationships with my students is crucial for their academic success, both in-person and online. By celebrating big and small goals and incorporating their interests into lessons, I am able to create a fun and engaging environment for my learners. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my students grow and achieve their goals, whether it's acing a math test or finally understanding a difficult concept. As an experienced tutor, I understand the challenges of online learning and have developed effective strategies to make it both fun and effective. Setting goals with my students, demonstrating lessons, and having them practice problems together and individually are just some of the methods I use to ensure their online learning is successful. When I am not teaching, you can find me traveling, shopping, or spending time outdoors. While my personal interests may not directly influence my teaching style, they do help me stay energized and refreshed for each session with my learners. I am committed to making your child's learning experience enjoyable and effective. I believe that every child has unique strengths and learning styles, and I am dedicated to finding the best ways to support and motivate them. I cannot wait to meet your family and embark on this learning journey together!

I have been teaching for 9 years and have experience in a variety of grades and subjects, including Kindergarten, Second, Fourth and Sixth Grade. I have taught all core subjects in the beautiful state of North Carolina. Along with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, I also have a minor in English and a Masters Degree in Special Education. I hold a K-6 Elementary Education License which has enabled me to truly understand and connect with my learners. Online learning can be challenging but that doesn't mean it can't also be fun! That's why I use a variety of methods, such as playing games and incorporating my students' interests into the learning process, to keep my learners engaged and excited about learning. I believe that building strong relationships with my students is crucial to their success, both in and out of the virtual classroom. By focusing on visual learning and incorporating movement and manipulation, I have found that online learning can be just as effective as in-person learning. When I'm not teaching, you can find me reading, playing video games, watching anime, or cooking up something delicious in the kitchen! These interests have not only helped me stay connected with technology and pop culture, but they have also influenced my teaching style. I believe that by taking an interest in my students' hobbies and preferences, I can create a more personalized and engaging learning experience for them. I can't wait to get to know your family and start our learning journey together!
