I am currently a 3rd-grade teacher. I have taught grades 3rd-8th and various subjects. This is my 9th year teaching. I am a mother of three, and I also have 2 amazing grandchildren.

Hi, my name is Mrs. Anderson, and I'm excited to start this learning journey with you! I have been aiding and teaching for 10 years! Through my teaching experience, I have developed a passion for working with young learners in Kindergarten through 4th grade. My goal is to create a fun and engaging learning environment that meets the unique needs of each student. I hold a K-6 teaching certificate and a Bachelor of Education with a major in Reading. Outside of teaching, you can find me running for charities, spending time outdoors with my family, or hanging out with friends. These passions also influence my teaching style, as I am able to implement real-life connections in my lessons. I was raised in a family of educators. I always wanted to be a teacher. I enjoyed teaching 8 years within different classrooms and settings. I taught 2nd, 4th, and 6th grade, as well as tutored in-person for 3 of those years. This has given me an advantage to see how concepts develop and are used for education purposes and life skills. I have been teaching for 6 joyful years and couldn't imagine doing anything else. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and third grade in the beautiful state of Massachusetts. In addition to being a classroom teacher, I also have experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to learners of various ages. I’ve been in education for 10 years, teaching 1st–4th grade, and for the last 3 years I’ve served as the school librarian, helping students fall in love with reading and learning.
