I am an experienced elementary educator with 10 years in education, working primarily with students in grades K–5. I specialize in math, reading, and science, and I currently work most often with 4th and 5th grade math students. I am a certified and licensed teacher and have experience teaching a wide range of learners in both classroom and tutoring settings.

I have worked with children in educational settings in some way for 10 years. I have worked in religious, Montessori, Head Start/Early Head Start, general preschool, early intervention, and public school settings.

I have 14 years of experience teaching kids from kindergarten to 3rd grade, with varying abilities from kindergarten to 5th grade. I've only taught in the sunny state of Florida, where I hold an education degree and have earned a highly qualified rating in the school district. I also have endorsements in ESOL and Reading. These qualifications have made me a knowledgeable and experienced educator, ready to help your child excel in their learning journey. Online learning can be a challenge, but I make it fun and engaging for my learners! I use popular game-based platforms like Kahoot and Blooket to make our lessons exciting and interactive. Plus, I incorporate resources like Epic and Brainpop, as well as my own created resources, to keep things interesting. I also make sure our lessons are effective by reviewing assessments and comparing our work to learning goals. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, crafting with my Cricut, writing, and spending time with my family. With 16 years of teaching experience, I have worked with students from Kindergarten through eighth grade in both general education and special education settings. Over the course of my career, I have taught elementary math and provided reading remediation for middle-school learners, helping students build confidence and master essential skills.
