Hi Parents & Students! I’m Ms. Rachael, and I’m so excited to meet you! I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Japanese (Asian Studies) and a Master’s Degree in Business. Teaching is my 2nd career. I have 6 years experience tutoring international students in English and conversation skills. I also have 2 years classroom teaching experience with elementary and middle school students, and over 10 years of volunteering with children through Girl Scouts, classroom programs and community activities. For eight years, I was a foster parent, which gave me the opportunity to work with kids from all kinds of backgrounds and helped me develop strong social-emotional and communication skills. I also have ADHD, so I understand that every child learns differently — and I love finding creative, supportive ways to help each learner succeed and feel confident. I’m especially passionate about reading, writing, and language, and I believe learning should be both fun and meaningful. I’ve traveled and lived in other countries, and while English is my only fluent language (for now!), I’ve studied a bit of French, Spanish, Japanese, and Mandarin — I’m a lifelong learner at heart!

With 6 years of teaching in the Philippines and 7 years of experience of teaching kids here in the US from Kindergarten through 8th grade, I have a passion for making subjects like English Language Arts, Math, Reading, and Science not just educational but super fun! I have taught students with Special needs across categories (hearing-impaired, visually-impaired, autism, ADHD, specific learning needs). Hello families! My name is Mr. Kel and I’m excited to tutor your child and be a part of their educational growth! While I am embarking on my first tutoring experience, I have been a teacher for 10 years with experience in both 1st and 2nd grade. I have worked with general ed, SPED, and ENL populations, where differentiation for a wide range of students has been key. I look forward to bringing my classroom expertise into 1 on 1 sessions to bring out the potential of each child I have the privilege to work with. As a big fan of everything Marvel (even with my own superhero classroom theme this year!), my tutoring experience will be all about getting your child to feel like a superhero. Hello! My name is Mandy, and I’ve been an educator for more than 20 years and an online teacher for over 8 of those years. I specialize in English as a Second Language as well as literacy skills for native speakers, including reading, phonics with Orten-Gillingham, writing, and grammar. Throughout my career, I’ve taught more than 5,000 online classes and have had the joy of working with over 1,000 students from all over the world. I tutor Pre-K through 6th grade readers and writers who need extra support or a confidence boost. Teaching is truly my passion, and I love being part of each child’s learning journey.
