I have been teaching for 14 years, specializing in grades 7 to 12 in the subjects of English and Social Sciences. I have taught in Georgia and hold a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Masters in Secondary Education, and a Masters in Special Education. I am also certified in English and Social Sciences, and am gifted endorsed. In addition to my love for teaching, I have many interests and hobbies outside of the classroom. I enjoy reading, traveling, spending time with my family, and going to church. These activities not only bring me joy and relaxation, but also greatly influence my teaching style in a positive manner. I believe in building relationships with my students, and using their personal interests and backgrounds to make learning more relatable and enjoyable. During our 1:1 sessions, I strive to create a fun and engaging learning environment for my young learners. I believe in the power of educational games and using relatable background information to keep them captivated and motivated. Hi! My name is Jacqueline, but everyone calls me Miss Jacki, and I’m so excited to begin this learning journey with your child. I’ve been tutoring for one year and have worked with students from Kindergarten through 9th grade all across the United States in online classrooms. Reading is my passion, and I love helping learners discover confidence, joy, and excitement in their reading skills. In my free time, I like to tie-dye, work on crafts or play with my pets.

I'm Dani! I am currently a 5th grade teacher at a local public elementary school. Some of my favorite moments teaching involve connecting scholars to the world around them through literature, writing, and a strong focus on global citizenship. I also focus on instilling a love of math and learning! I have experience teaching high school at various levels of English Language Arts, including AP Composition. I also have experience tutoring AP and college level humanities courses. Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a mental health crisis counselor for 15 years. I worked with children, families, adults, and in school settings. I also have experience as a gymnastics and swimming coach. Throughout all these years, I worked closely with teachers and other counselors to ensure scholars felt safe in their classrooms and at home. I have a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and my bachelors in sociology. My ultimate goal is a PhD in curriculum development.

I’ve been a teacher for 20 years and have taught everything from preschool to high school GED. Most recently I’ve taught middle school in alternative schools focused trauma based curriculum and I loved that area. A few years ago I had to leave full time teaching and started tutoring online at home. I fell in love with that as well and have been doing it ever since!

As a foreigner in a culture that is not my own, learning a language that is not my own, I am grateful for life's twists and turns that have led me to the place of empathy and sociocultural competence where I find myself today.

Hello. My name is Kristy and I love helping children grow. I have been teaching in elementary for 12 years now- 7 years in an autism program and 4 years in third grade. Seeing students show growth and learn about themselves along the way is the best part of the job. I have a lot of experience tutoring one on one students as well as small groups. I enjoy allowing students to take accountability for their own learning. Do I actually understand? What do I need to feel better about my learning? A lot of times we tend to teach and assume students are all going to understand the same way something is taught; which is not the case. Students should be able to find a teaching model that works the best for THEM and I am here to help them find that.
