My name is Mrs. Bernadette Rey, and I am thrilled to begin this exciting learning journey with you and your child. I bring over 30 years of experience in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, having had the pleasure of working with young learners in Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and First Grade. Throughout my career, I have taught in both monolingual English classrooms and in specialized areas such as English as a Second Language (ESL). I have also been part of a collaborative Pre-K classroom that served students with disabilities alongside their general education peers, allowing me to support diverse learning needs within an inclusive environment. Originally from a border town in Texas, I have taught in various educational settings across the state. These experiences have provided me with a wide range of skills and instructional strategies to support each child as a unique learner. I am dedicated to creating a nurturing, engaging, and supportive classroom where every student can grow with confidence and joy. I look forward to a wonderful journey of learning together!

Hi my name is Ms. Halle and I am excited to start this learning journey with you! I have been teaching for 35 years and have experience with learners in kindergarten through 6th grade for all subjects. My students have ranged from curious kindergartners to curious middle schoolers and I have loved every minute of it! I have taught in Wisconsin and am currently located there. I hold a Master of Elementary Education degree for grades 1-8 and am also certified as a Reading Specialist for Pre-K through 12th grade and an English Language teacher for Pre-K through 9th grade. These qualifications have given me a deep understanding of how to support learners at different stages and levels. My goal is to make sure every child has the tools they need to succeed. Outside of teaching, I am an avid dragon boater, biker, and hiker. I am also passionate about giving back to my community and volunteer with Cycling Without Age Marathon County. My athletic adventures remind me that kids need lots of movement too! In my online teaching, I make sure to incorporate my learners' interests into our lessons. This keeps them engaged and excited to learn. I also create lessons that are at their cusp of learning, making sure they are constantly challenged and growing. I believe that hands-on and interactive activities are key to making learning fun and effective, especially online. I am very excited to work with your family and help your child reach their full potential. I understand that every learner is unique and I am committed to finding the best approach for each child to succeed. My goal is to build a strong relationship with your child and make learning a positive and enjoyable experience. Let's work together to make sure they are reaching their goals and having fun along the way! I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child better and joining you on this learning journey. I will always make sure to create a safe and positive learning environment for your child, as well as work closely with you to ensure their success. Through my personal interests and experiences, I bring a unique perspective to my teaching style and methodology. I am confident that together, we can make sure your child is reaching their full potential and having fun while doing it! See you in our virtual classroom!

I have been teaching for 6 years and love working with learners in Pre-Kindergarten through 9th grade. My teaching journey started in Kindergarten, then I moved to 2nd grade for 4 years after that. I am currently teaching PreK at a school in Southeast Michigan. I have experience working with students in Pre-K through 9th grade. I have a strong educational background with a degree in Elementary Education, majoring in integrated science and minoring in language arts. My teaching certification is in Elementary Education. In addition to my qualifications, I also make sure that online learning is fun and engaging for my learners. I use interactive tools and incorporate games to keep my learners excited and motivated. I also make sure online learning is effective by using quick checks of understanding and exit tickets to assess their progress. Outside of teaching, I have a number of hobbies that keep me creative and inspired. I love scrapbooking, knitting/crocheting, and other crafty things. Cooking, baking, and reading are also some of my favorite activities. I believe these interests influence my teaching style, as I like to bring creativity into my lessons. Whether it be presenting information in a fun and creative way or having learners complete an activity with a creative aspect to it, I believe it helps keep them engaged and interested in the subject at hand. I am looking forward to working with your family and helping your child reach their full potential. Let's work together to make learning an enjoyable and effective experience for your child. I am excited to get to know your child and help them learn and grow. Let's make this learning journey a fun and memorable one!

Early math experiences shape how children feel about math for years to come. Preschoolers are building number sense, learning to count, recognizing patterns, and understanding basic concepts like more and less. These foundational skills prepare them for kindergarten math.

At Dojo Tutor, our early childhood specialists make math playful and engaging. Working 1-to-1 with your child, they build number recognition, counting skills, and early problem-solving through games, stories, and hands-on activities designed for young learners.

With the right early support, your child can develop a positive relationship with math that lasts.
