I have been teaching for 8 years, specializing in 3rd-8th grade and special education. I have taught in Nevada and also in Manila, Philippines where I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a major in Special Education. My passion for teaching has led me to explore different teaching methods and I am always looking for new and exciting ways to engage my learners. When it comes to online learning, I believe in making it fun and engaging for my students. I use games, prizes, and reinforcement to keep them motivated and interested in their lessons. I also use interactive slides and structured lessons to ensure that the online learning is effective. I am dedicated to helping each of my learners reach their full potential, both in and out of the virtual classroom. Outside of teaching, I enjoy staying active by going to the gym, running, and playing basketball. I also love playing guitar in my free time. These interests definitely influence my teaching style, as I believe that a healthy body and mind are essential for successful learning. I returned to my home state of Washington and taught from 2016-2025 in Washington state. I taught 4th grade for 6 years and elementary technology for grades K-5 for 3 years.
