Math Tutoring

Hello! My name is Brittany Robinson, and I am from Georgia. I have been teaching for 13 years, and have experience in Kindergarten, 2nd Grade, and 3rd Grade classrooms. I also have experience teaching students who are gifted and talented, on the autism spectrum, and English Language Learners.

My name is Kelly! I have been a professional teacher for 10 years. I have worked in the public school system for the past 9 years. Before I became an elementary teacher I worked in childcare for several years. Teaching is what I enjoy to do, my goal is to make learning fun and interactive for students.

I've been currently teaching 3rd grade in Oklahoma since 2023 and dojo tutoring for 2 years; taught 5th grade in Arizona for 5 years and 9 years in the Philippines.

I am from Carrollton, Georgia, and this is my 19th year as an educator. I have also been a Class Dojo Ambassador since 2015, and started tutoring with Dojo Tutor in November 2022. I earned a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia, as well as a Master's in Education with a focus on Integrating Technology in the Classroom and an Ed.S. in Educational Technology from Walden University. I have taught all subjects in Pre-K, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades, as well as 4th and 5th grade math. I have also earned my Gifted Endorsement. I have experience tutoring students up to eighth grade, and I currently teach fifth grade math.

With over 20 years of teaching experience, I have had the pleasure of working with learners from Kindergarten through 12th grade, focusing on English as a Second Language and Elementary Education. I’ve shared my passion for learning in both Minnesota and California. making sure that every child feels valued and understood in their educational adventures. I believe that learning should be fun and engaging, so I incorporate games and playful activities into our online sessions. Imagine being the teacher sometimes and teaching me back—how cool is that? I tailor each lesson to meet my learners where they are, making sure everyone feels confident and excited about progress. My goal is to create a lively and interactive atmosphere where everyone can shine! Outside of teaching, you’ll find me enjoying nature, hanging out with animals, and spending quality time with my family and friends. I love playing games and cards, which often inspires the fun we have in our lessons. So get ready for some laughter and learning; together, we can make every session a joyful experience!

I live near Charlotte, NC with my wonderful wife and our two daughters, ages 8 and 10. We have homeschooled our girls from the beginning, giving me valuable experience in designing personalized curriculums that meet the unique needs of different learners. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, but I’ve always had a deep love for working with numbers and helping students understand them in meaningful ways. For the past eight years, I’ve taught both in classrooms and online—working with students across the United States and abroad in China. Through these experiences, I’ve learned that every child learns differently and at their own pace. My goal is to create an engaging, individualized learning plan that helps your child grow with confidence and curiosity.

I have been teaching for 3 years, primarily working with 3rd graders in general education. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a focus on grades K-6. My passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential led me to pursue a Minor in Special Education and a focus in Psychology. I also have various certifications such as Youth Mental Health First Aid and LETRS Science of Reading. My goal is to make every learning session an enjoyable and effective experience for my young learners. Throughout my teaching experience in Wilmington and Brevard, NC, I have been able to adapt to various learning environments and implement engaging techniques to keep my students motivated. One of my greatest strengths is my ability to connect with each learner and tailor my teaching strategies to their interests and goals. I believe that positive reinforcement and encouragement are crucial in building a strong learning foundation. Aside from teaching, I enjoy spending my free time hiking, exploring new places, and spending time with loved ones. These hobbies have greatly influenced my teaching style, as they have taught me to be patient, creative, and adaptable. I am always excited to share new experiences and ideas with my students, and I strive to make each learning session a fun and interactive experience. I look forward to meeting my new learners and their families, and I can't wait to embark on this learning journey together!

Hello! My name is Brandi McGrady, and I am currently in my fifth year of teaching. I take pride in building strong relationships with my students and creating learning experiences that are both fun and engaging. I began my teaching career in South Carolina and moved back to Georgia, where I grew up, about two years ago to continue my work in education. I have extensive experience teaching a variety of grade levels and academic needs, and I’ve taught all core subjects for students in 2nd through 5th grade.
