With 7 years of teaching experience, I have had the pleasure of helping many children grow to meet their fullest potential . I hold a Bachelors degree in Family Consumer Science and have a Science of Reading Certification. My goal is to make online learning fun and engaging for my students. To do that, I bring my energy and personalize each lesson to the specific kid. When I am not teaching, you can find me crafting or spending time with my family. Crafting allows me to be creative with my teaching methods, which ultimately benefits my learners. I can't wait to see what we can learn together!

I have been teaching for 5 years and have experience working with learners in Kindergarten through 2nd grade in math and ELA. I primarily taught in Oklahoma and have a Bachelors Degree in Child Studies and a Masters Degree in Education. My Oklahoma teaching certificate allows me to bring my expertise and love for teaching to students in need. I firmly believe that online learning doesn't have to be boring! In fact, I love to make things fun and exciting by creating lesson plans that are not only creative, but also cater to the interests of my learners. I understand that every child learns differently, which is why I make sure to incorporate different teaching strategies to ensure that online learning is effective. I remain positive and consistent in my approach, which keeps my learners engaged and motivated to learn. Aside from teaching, my personal interests include coaching and training Jiu Jitsu, playing guitar and piano, and writing my own music. As a musical person, I incorporate music and acting into my lesson plans to make learning even more enjoyable for my learners. For example, when we work on sight words, we love to sing about them as we repeat them! I am always open to incorporating my personal interests into my teaching style and methodology to make learning a fun and interactive experience for every learner.

I have been a Special Education Teacher for 13 years, starting in Mississippi and now teaching in Tennessee. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege to collaborate with learners of all ages, but currently, I have experience with grades K-8. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Memphis and a master’s degree in education from Walden University. In addition, I have a teaching license from the State of Tennessee that allows me to work with students who have mild to moderate disabilities. My goal is to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all learners, providing them with the support and resources they need to thrive. I make online learning fun and engaging for my students by incorporating their interests into our lessons. Whether it is through interactive games, hands-on projects, or real-world applications, I strive to make each lesson feel meaningful and enjoyable. My strategies for effective online learning involve clear communication, interactive tools, and personalized learning strategies. I am committed to creating a supportive online community where learners can feel connected, motivated, and confident in their abilities. Outside of teaching, I enjoy budgeting, traveling, and planning fun events. These interests influence my teaching style and methodology, helping me design creative and engaging lessons that make learning exciting and relevant for my learners. I cannot wait to embark on this learning journey with you and your family!
