Hi families! My name is Ms. Moore, and I’m a 9th Grade English Language Arts teacher with years of experience supporting students academically and emotionally. I specialize in reading comprehension, writing development, confidence-building strategies, and behavior/organization support. My mission is to help students find their voice, strengthen their academic skills, and reach their full potential with personalized learning plans tailored to their needs. I have been teaching for eight years and have experience teaching learners in grades EC-12. I have taught in various states and regions, including Texas, Maryland, Georgia, Colorado, Arizona, and South Carolina. I have also taught in China, bringing a global perspective to my teaching. Regarding my education, I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in both History and Anthropology. I also have an MS degree in Management with a focus on Public Relations and an MBA. I am a certified Special Education teacher for grades EC-12, as well as certified to teach Social Studies for grades 7-12 and English as a Second Language (ESL) for grades EC-12. These qualifications have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide a personalized and practical learning experience for your kids. When it comes to online learning, I am dedicated to making it fun and engaging for my students. As a high-energy teacher, I love to incorporate props, games, and even bad (but funny) jokes into my lessons. I also believe in personalizing lessons for each learner and using gamification to keep them motivated and excited about learning. I am also a big advocate of encouraging questions and using checks for understanding to ensure that online learning is effective for all my students. Outside of teaching, I have a range of hobbies and interests that keep me inspired and creative in the classroom. I love reading and writing, and I even enjoy building websites in my free time. I am also passionate about gardening, cooking, swimming, and playing pool. When I'm not teaching or pursuing my hobbies, you'll find me indulging in my love for Marvel and DC comics or binge-watching crime dramas like NCIS. I also adore spending time with my dogs and cats, who bring joy and companionship to my life and teaching style. Hi, I'm Ms. Reece! I’ve had the joy of teaching English in grades 7–12, helping students excel on grade-level standardized exams, SAT, ACT, and other college entrance assessments. I’ve developed lively, standards-aligned curriculum that boosts students’ reading, writing, and critical-thinking skills.

I have been teaching for 15 years, primarily in the state of Mississippi. During this time, I have taught a variety of grades and subjects, including reading, ELA, math, and SPED for learners in 5th through 8th grade. My degrees in Curriculum and Instruction and Special Education, as well as my certification in Elementary Education and Google Certified Instructor, have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support your child's academic growth. During online learning, I make sure to keep things fun and engaging for my learners. I love to incorporate games and manipulatives to make learning more enjoyable. I also use visual aids, show and tell, and break down lessons into smaller chunks to ensure that online learning is effective. Hello! My name is Micah. I live in Tomah, Wisconsin. I have a wife, two kids, a dog, and two cats. For the past 16 years, I have taught Spanish to high school students grades 9 through 12. I really enjoy getting to know my students, and helping them learn, and I’m excited to work with your child! In addition to teaching Spanish, I’ve also tutored Chinese children in English for the past 3 years. Through that experience I’ve been able to meet and help people all over the world as well as learn new methods of teaching. My favorite state to teach in is Arizona, where I have been able to help many kids succeed in school. I hold a degree in Elementary Education grades K-8, as well as a masters in differentiated instruction. I am SO excited to get to know you and to begin our learning adventure together! I have so much experience and joy to bring to our sessions together. I began my journey with a Psychology degree. My initial position was a therapeutic support system where I helped my students within their school, home and community settings. Additionally, I have a vast background in teaching within an intensive Autism Support classroom. For 6 years I taught 5th and 6th graders, with a focus on Language Arts, earning large amounts of recognition. I taught within the classroom and also as a remote educator. I am certified to teach PreK to 8th grade learners. I believe that every learner is unique and deserves a personalized approach to learning. I am passionate about learning WHO you are. That's why I make it a priority to get to know my students, their own passions, and their learning goals.
