I bring 27 years of experience to teaching, along with the perspective of being a mother to three adult children with ADHD and autism. This combination has given me deep insight into diverse learning needs, patience in the face of challenges, and a strong belief in meeting students where they are. Both professionally and personally, I have learned the importance of structure, flexibility, advocacy, and compassion, and these experiences shape the way I support students academically and emotionally every day.

I am a married mom of an equestrian teen. I have been teaching for over 20 years in Nevada. I have spent the last 14 years at a gem of a Title I school that also happens to be a nationally recognized blue ribbon school and national ESEA school. I have spent the majority of my time in second grade with some years in first grade and in special education. I hold a bachelors degree in elementary education with a minor in dance and a masters degree in teaching English as a second language.

Hi! My name is Nicole, and I am excited to start this learning journey with you. I’m a certified teacher with three years of classroom experience in 2nd and 3rd grade. I love helping students build confidence, master new skills, and discover that learning can be fun and rewarding. I hold a dual bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Childhood Education, which qualifies me to teach children from birth through 6th grade. I hold a teaching license in both Virginia and New York, where I’ve worked with a wide range of learners with different strengths, needs, and goals.

I have over 20 years of experience working with children as an educator, administrator and childcare professional. Throughout my career, I have supported children at various developmental stages, with a strong focus on early literacy, math foundations, school readiness, and social-emotional growth. I believe children learn best when they feel safe, encouraged, and understood, and I strive to create a supportive learning environment that helps each child gain confidence and succeed.

Hi! My name is Kayte, and I am excited to start this learning journey with you! With nine years of teaching experience, I’ve had the pleasure of guiding young learners in grades 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, and 8. I’ve taught in the beautiful states of Minnesota, Utah, and Montana. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (with a focus in Math) and a Master’s Degree in Experiential Learning and Development; both degrees help me build strong connections with my students and make learning fun. To make our online sessions engaging, I love using games and activities that tap into your child’s interests. It’s all about sparking that curiosity! I ensure that our learning together is effective by using interactive content, encouraging participation, and providing personalized feedback. I believe that clear communication is key in our virtual classroom, so I'm always here to help your learner shine! During the day, I am employed at a local nonprofit as the Early Intervention Supervisor. When I’m not busy with lessons or work, you can find me running, downhill skiing, biking, or playing ice hockey. I also love spending quality time with my family and friends, and of course, my playful puppy, Birdy! My hobbies add a sprinkle of fun to my teaching style, and I can’t wait to bring that energy into our sessions together. Let’s make learning an adventure!

I have been teaching for 4 years in preschool, kindergarten, and most currently first grade. I teach in central Iowa! I have been working with dojo since the Fall of 2024. What I love most about tutoring is the one on one connection I am able to make with students from all over the country! I believe in making online learning enjoyable and effective for my learners. I do this by incorporating their interests into our lessons and using a variety of activities. I also keep a perky pace and use engaging topics to ensure learning is fun and impactful! Outside of teaching, I enjoy crafting, reading, journaling, dirt biking, snowmobiling, baking/cooking, playing video games, rock hunting, and hiking. I love using my personal interests to connect with my learners and make our activities fun and interesting! I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education Unified with a minor in Anthropology. I also have teaching certifications and special qualifications including Birth-Grade 3 Inclusive Settings Strat 1 (Iowa Endorsement 1001), PK-KEarly Childhood Special Education Strat 1 (Iowa Endorsement 262), and Reading K-8.

With five years of experience under my belt, I’ve had the joy of teaching 2nd graders in North Carolina all about reading, writing, and math. There’s nothing quite like seeing those little lightbulbs go off when they grasp a new concept! I love to create a bright, positive atmosphere that makes learning feel like an adventure. To make our online sessions fun and engaging, I like to include exciting educational resources and interactive lessons. Together, we'll jump into stories and projects that spark imagination and creativity! Hello! I am a seasoned educator who has taught and tutored elementary students for almost 20 years! I have masters degrees from Penn State and University of Michigan.
