I’m a Special Education Teacher with an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) certificate, dedicated to helping every student reach their fullest potential. I’m passionate about creating supportive, inclusive learning environments where students feel valued, capable, and motivated to succeed.

Hi my name is Mr. Moore and I am excited to start this learning journey with you! I have over 26 years of experience teaching English/Language Arts to learners in grades 6-12. Throughout my teaching career, I have had the pleasure of teaching a variety of subjects including AP English, Honors English, and English grades 7-12 in the state of Ohio. As an experienced educator, I am dedicated to making online learning enjoyable and effective for my learners. I believe that getting to know my learners is crucial in creating an engaging learning environment. I always look for the positives in each lesson and strive to make learning fun for my learners. By staying positive and incorporating fun into our lessons, I am able to ensure that my learners are engaged and excited to learn! When I am not teaching, you can find me cheering on my kids at their sports games or watching my favorite teams, the Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes, play. I also enjoy reading, going on road trips, and spending time outdoors. My personal interests greatly influence my teaching style and methodology. I love using road trips as opportunities to learn about history and different places. I truly believe that we can learn from everything we experience, and I try to incorporate that mindset into my teaching.

With over 30 years of experience as an educator at various levels, my work has centered on supporting student success and academic growth. Currently, I serve as an instructional coach for Chicago Public Schools, where the focus is on helping teachers refine their practice to positively impact student learning. My educational background includes an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, an M.A. in Teaching, and a B.S. in Accounting, along with both Administrative and Teaching Licenses. This combination of experience and training allows me to approach tutoring with a deep understanding of instruction, curriculum, and student needs.

I’ve worked in education for over 15 years, teaching everything from reading and digital literacy to business and technology courses, and serving as an EdTech instructional coach. I specialize in helping students build confidence, master foundational skills, and enjoy learning again.

I am a mom of three very busy kids, and I have been married for over 15 years. Somehow, I find time to crochet, spend time with family and friends, read, and bake. I have been teaching in my school district's unique high school online program for over 5 years. So tutoring online is where I thrive.

Hi! My name is Tammie, and I'm excited to start this learning journey with you. I bring approximately 20 years of teaching experience across grades K-12, where I've taught reading, ESL, social studies, and English, as well as some math and science. My favorite positions to teach in are resource and special education. I believe that all children are capable of learning with the right supports. Currently, I teach in my state's largest school district, which serves students from 17 different countries who speak as many as 108 languages (other than English) at home. My educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science and a Master's degree in Reading Specialist/ESL. I hold teaching certifications in Social Studies (grades 7-12) and Reading and ESL (grades K-12).

With eight years of teaching experience in English and Reading for high schoolers in sunny Florida, I know just how to make learning feel like an adventure. I absolutely believe that everyone can find joy in reading, and I'm here to help your kids discover their own special stories! To make our online sessions fun and engaging, I focus on what excites my learners. Together, we’ll personalize our lessons to match their interests, whether it’s diving into a book about dinosaurs, superheroes, or the latest movie they love. I have worked with Classdojo for 3 years now, after spending 6 years in the classroom. I have my bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Master's in Educational Leadership. I am currently back in school for Wildlife Management to be able to expand my teaching into the natural sciences. I love nature, art, sports, anime, and video games.

Hello families! My name is Laurie, and I’m passionate about helping students grow in confidence and reach their academic goals. I believe that learning should be engaging, encouraging, and tailored to each child’s unique strengths and needs. I have experience working with students of various ages and learning styles, and I strive to make every session positive and productive. I have been teaching for 4 years and have had the pleasure of working with learners in kindergarten and first grade. I have also taught 9th and 10th-grade Literature as well as American Literature to 11th-grade students. I have taught in both Florida and Georgia, but I am currently located in Florida while teaching 5th graders. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Education degree in Reading Education. Additionally, I have earned endorsements in both Reading and English as a Second Language.
